Formerly an antiquarian bookseller and a librarian, Jim Gilbert is the managing editor at River City Publishing in Montgomery, Alabama. He is a free-lance book reviewer and essayist for the Mobile Register, and his Pushcart-nominated short fiction has appeared in the Red Bluff Review, Climbing Mt. Cheaha: Emerging Alabama Writers, and Stories from the Blue Moon Cafe, Volume 1.
